What if I lost my driver's license?

No problem – visit one of our offices and our friendly staff will assist you with getting a duplicate. Just have to have your proof of insurance if you own a vehicle and be ready to take another picture.

What is the cost and how many years is driver’s license valid?

Driver’s license are valid for 6 years and cost with no endorsements or late fees for Class E are $32.50 plus our $23.00 convenience fee. All fees for driver’s license, click here.

How soon can I renew my driver’s license prior to its expiration date?

Driver’s license renewals can be done 180 days (six months) before expiration date.

Can I use my current driver’s license picture at renewal or for duplicate?

No, the state requires a new photo with renewal, any changes, or duplicates to have updated accurate records.

Can I add I am a Veteran to my driver’s license?

Our team is always ready to support our Veterans therefore if you want to add the Veterans indicator on your Driver’s Licnese or State Identification Card, just need one proof of discharge paperwork from military – click on link for acceptable proof document . We also gives discounts rates to our convenience fee to our veterans – Thank you for your service!!

Is there an extra fee to do any driver’s license and identification card services at FastPass?

Yes, we do have additional fees above the Office of Motor Vehicles fees to process transactions. As a Public Tag Agent, we are allowed to charge a convenience fee of $23.00 and if additional documents are needed, there will be a minimum additional charge. Are our services worth the additional fees? Our team is friendly, fast, and can assist with any questions or help with all documents. We will get you in and out quickly usually within 15 minutes instead of waiting in long lines.

Does FastPass offer any discounts for military, first responders, and teachers?

I have a No Insurance (NI) flag, but never had a lapse in coverage, what are the steps to take care of it?

Pass by or call one of our offices FastPass Locations | Louisiana Public Tag Agent | FastPass Tag & Title to speak with our fast friendly team. Each block must be researched to determine why the flag was set. Our team will identify the reason and help you gather any documents to have the flag removed without paying the Office of Motor Vehicles fines if set in error.

What is a No Insurance (NI) Flag? Why do I have one on my driver’s license and/or vehicle registration?

NI Flags are issued every time your insurance lapses or cancels, when you still have a valid license plate on your vehicle. Your insurance electronically notifies the State of LA and there is a lapse, the flag is set. At times, the flag is set in error, mostly when you switch insurance companies. The NI block will be placed on your Driver’s License and the Vehicle Registration. Our team can help research, identify the reason for the NI flag, and provide details to help you get the necessary documentation or information to clear the record.
